If you want to add another layer of protection to your Upheal account, you can turn on 2-step verification. This means that whenever you log in to Upheal, we'll send a unique code to your mobile phone as an extra login step.

Why use 2-step verification?

With 2-step verification, your Upheal account is more secure. When you log in, we send a code to your phone, which you need to enter to Upheal to access your account. This means that even if someone did know your password, they couldn't log in without also having your phone.

How to set up 2-step verification

  1. In Upheal, go to your Settings.

  2. In My profile, go to 2-step verification.

  3. Switch on Sign in using a verification code sent to your mobile phone.

Now, when you log in, you'll receive a code on your phone, which you'll need to enter correctly in order to access your Upheal account.

How can I change my phone number for 2-step verification?

If you need to change your phone number, please reach out to Upheal support.

Why don't I see the option for 2-step verification in my settings?

If you don't see 2-step verification in your settings, it means you use a Google account to log in to Upheal. Google accounts use their own 2-step verification process β€” see Google's instructions for setting it up.

When using a Google account for Upheal, you also won't see a phone number in your Upheal settings, since we only use phone numbers for verification code purposes.
