If you need to make changes to the structure, content, or language of a document that Upheal generates, Smart edit is here to do the heavy lifting and save you time. Smart edit works in your notes, treatment plans, and post-session summaries. Just select your text, tell Smart edit exactly what to do, and then use the new content or try again.

A few things you could use Smart edit for:

  • Shortening long sections

  • Converting paragraphs to lists or vice versa

  • Anonymizing sensitive information

  • Translating the whole note to another language

We provide some preset suggestions, but you can also give our AI your own customized instructions.

  1. Select the text you want to edit.

You can highlight a selection in a note or treatment plan:

Or make changes to a whole note:

  2. Tell Smart edit what to do.

Either click on a suggestion, or type your own instructions.

  3. After a moment, you'll see a preview of the new content. Choose what to do next:

    • Replace selection: Remove the original selected text completely, and replace it with the new content.

    • Try the same prompt again: Make changes to your original instructions and try running Smart edit again. This discards the previewed/new text.

    • Discard new text: Keep the original selected text from your notes.
