If you don't see the options presented in this article, please visit this one instead. We are in the process of updating and improving Upheal, so you might still have the previous version.

For each session, you can have multiple notes, including progress notes using multiple different templates, private notes, and a post-session summary to send your client.

Each note has its own tab on the session page:

Creating an additional note

Adding another note to a session won't affect any other existing notes. Please be aware that you need a session transcript in order to add new notes.

  1. On the session page in the note section, click Add note.

  2. Click the note template you'd like to use, and a new note will start generating.

Deleting a note

If you have an extra session note that you don't need, you can delete it. Please be aware that the note will not be recoverable after it's been deleted, and you'll need a session transcript to generate any new notes.

  1. On the session page, go to the tab of the note you'd like to delete.

  2. Click the three-dot icon, and click Delete note.

Regenerating a note

If a technical issue leads to a note or other document that's not quite ideal, you can regenerate that note. You can also regenerate post-session summaries for your clients.

Please be aware that you need a session transcript in order to regenerate a document.

When you regenerate a note, you'll lose any changes you've already made to that note. Other notes (in other tabs on the session page) won't be affected.

  1. Go to the session page, and go to the note you'd like to reprocess.

  2. Click the three-dot icon near the top of the note, and click Regenerate note.

  3. To confirm, click Regenerate.

After a few minutes of processing, you'll get a new note.
