Currently, you can assign team members one of two roles: Admin or Provider, depending on what they need to do while using Upheal. (If you’re not part of a group practice, you’re automatically an Admin.)

Provider role

The Provider role is for team members who work with clients, but who don't need to manage other team members or practice settings.

Providers can:

  • Hold sessions with clients and create documents

  • Make changes to their own profile

  • Manage their note settings and note templates

Admin role

The Admin role is for team members who might oversee the practice or need access to team member and client management. Every practice needs to have at least one Admin.

Admins can do everything Providers can do, plus:

  • Add, remove, and manage team members

  • Change settings for the whole practice

  • See all clients, sessions, and documents from all providers

  • Manage billing
