If you don't see the options presented in this article, please visit this one instead. We are in the process of updating and improving Upheal, so you might already have the new version.
Upheal offers several therapy and psychiatric note types. You can change your note type at any time, even after a session has already been processed.
Changing your default note type
You can set a default type for all of your future notes. If you want a certain client to have a different note type than your default, you can change the note type for just that client later (see below).
Go to your Settings.
On the left, go to Note settings. In Default note type, click Change note type.
Select the note type you'd like. Click the category at the top left to switch between Therapy, Psychiatry, and Medical notes.
To save, click Set default note type.
All future sessions will be in this note type, unless you choose a different type for specific clients.
Changing a client’s note type
You can change a specific client’s default progress note type so that all future session notes for that client will be in your chosen format.
Go to the client’s profile.
Beside the Default note type section, click Change.
Select the note type you’d like. Click the category at the top left to switch between Therapy, Psychiatry, and Medical notes.
Click Set default note type.
All future session notes will be in the new selected format.
Changing the note type of a processed session
You can change the note type of a session that has already been processed and generate newly formatted notes.
From your Upheal dashboard or your client’s page, go to the session you’d like to change.
From the Overview tab, in the Notes section, click Change note type.
Select the note type you’d like. Click the category at the top left to switch between Therapy, Psychiatry, and Medical notes.
Before you generate new notes, you can set this selection as your client’s default note type for all future sessions by clicking Set as default for (client).
Click Generate new notes.
The session will reprocess (this can take a few minutes), and your notes will be in the new format.
