At Upheal, we prioritize the privacy and confidentiality of our clients. As such, we have established specific guidelines regarding the recording of therapy sessions. Here's how you can listen to a recording of a therapy session:

Storing a Recording:

  1. Ask for Consent: Before recording a session, you must ask the client for consent. This ensures compliance with privacy laws and our platform's policies.

  2. Click on 'Store recording':

    1. During the session, click on the 'Store recording' button. You can do this at any time, even at the end of the session and a full session will be stored.

  3. Client Approval: After you click the button, the client will be prompted to approve the request. Only with their consent will the recording be stored.

Accessing the Stored Recording:

  1. Navigate to the session note: Once the session is over and the recording has been approved and stored, you can access it in the session note.

  2. Playback the audio: The session will be available for playback in audio format. Simply click on the playback button to listen to the recording.

Important Note

No automatic recordings: Upheal does not keep recordings by default due to privacy reasons. Recordings must be initiated by the healing professional and approved by the client.

By adhering to these guidelines, therapists can maintain transparency and trust with their clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment on the Upheal platform. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact our support team.
