Changing how Upheal refers to you and your clients

You can change how Upheal refers to you and your clients in your notes in statements like “The therapist assessed…” and “The client expressed…” to suit your preferences.

  1. Go to your Settings > Note settings.

  2. Under Note identifiers click Edit, and use the dropdown menus to set:

    • How we’ll refer to you, the service provider

    • How we’ll refer to the service receiver

    • Your pronouns for notes

  3. Click Save.

As a service provider, you can choose to be referred to as:

  • Author

  • Clinician

  • Coach

  • Dr. (plus your last name)

  • First name

  • Physician

  • Provider

  • Therapist

  • Writer

You can choose for your client to be referred to as:

  • Client

  • First name

  • Member

  • Patient

You can choose from the pronouns:

  • She/her

  • He/him

  • They/them

You can also set or change your client’s pronouns.
