When you use Upheal with a client under the age of 16, a parent or legal guardian needs to consent to Upheal's agreements on the client’s behalf. It’s important to note that Upheal's records do not differentiate between the client or a guardian providing the consent. As a provider, it is your responsibility to maintain accurate records of the guardian's consent.

This article is specific to Upheal, not to mental health care in general. Please follow the laws in your region regarding client age and mental health care.
